Conversation With Lord Krishna

Me: I can’t find free time. Life has become hectic.

KRISHNA: Activity gets you busy. But productivity gets you free.

Me: Why has life become complicated now?

KRISHNA: Stop analyzing life…. It makes it complicated…. Just live it.

Me: Why are we then constantly unhappy?

KRISHNA: Worrying has become your habit. That’s why you are not happy.

Me: Why do good people always suffer?

KRISHNA: Diamond cannot be polished without friction. Gold cannot be purified without fire. Good people go through trials, but don’t suffer. With that experience their life becomes better, not bitter.

Me: You mean to say such experience is useful?

KRISHNA: Yes. In every term, Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons afterwards.

Me: Because of so many problems, we don’t know where we are heading…

KRISHNA: If you look outside you will not know where you are heading. Look inside. Eyes provide sight. Heart provides the way.

Me : Does failure hurt more than moving in the right direction?

KRISHNA: Success is a measure as decided by others. Satisfaction is a measure as decided by you.

Me: In tough times, how do you stay motivated?

KRISHNA: Always look at how far you have come rather than how far you have to go. Always count your blessing, not what you are missing.

Me: What surprises you about people?

KRISHNA: When they suffer they ask, “why me?” When they prosper, they never ask “Why me?”

Me: How can I get the best out of life?

KRISHNA: Face your past without regret. Handle your present with confidence. Prepare for the future without fear.

Me: One last question. Sometimes I feel my prayers are not answered.

KRISHNA: There are no unanswered prayers. Keep the faith and drop the fear. Life is a mystery to solve, not a problem to resolve. Trust me. Life is wonderful if you know how to live.

Making A Mistake

Blessed are those who don't see a mistake as a mistake....!!!

But it is hard not to see your own mistake. Outwardly, you may justify yourself or prove your innocence to someone else, but a mistake pricks a conscience.

Do not justify yourself. Instead, feel the prick of the mistake. That very pinch will take you out of the mistake. A mistake means something that brings misery to you in the long run. So why would someone knowingly commit a mistake?

While pointing out a mistake to someone, do you consider him as separate from you and go on pointing out his error or do you make him feel a part of you? When you point out a mistake to someone, does it make him more stressed, or does it create more awareness in that person?

Often you do not point out someone's mistake when it is required. Not pointing out a mistake -- with due consideration to time and place -- is also a mistake. When you make a new mistake, it is not a mistake; you have learned a valuable lesson.

But when you keep doing the same mistake over and over, it is a BIG mistake. A mistake simply means you have missed taking a lesson that has come your way.

Do not lament over your mistake. Just take the lesson from it. You will not be judged by your mistakes, but by your virtues. Mistakes are of the earth. Virtues are of the Divine.

Wise is the one who learns from other's mistakes. Less wise is the one who learns from his own mistakes. The fool keeps making the same mistakes again and again and never learns from them.

Who Is Happy?

A crow lived in the forest and was absolutely satisfied in life.

But one day he saw a swan. "This swan is so white and I am so black", the crow thought. "This swan must be the happiest bird in the world."

He expressed his thoughts to the swan.

"Actually," the swan replied, "I was feeling that I was the happiest bird around until I saw a parrot, which has two colors. I now think the parrot is the happiest bird in creation."

The crow then approached the parrot.

The parrot explained, "I lived a very happy life, until I saw a peacock. I have only two colors, but the peacock has multiple colors."

The crow then visited a peacock in the zoo and saw that hundreds of people had gathered to see him.

After the people had left, the crow approached the peacock.

"Dear peacock, you are so beautiful. Every day thousands of people come to see you. When people see me, they immediately shoo me away. I think you are the happiest bird on the planet", the crow said.

The peacock replied, "I always thought that I was the most beautiful and happiest bird on the planet, but because of my beauty, I am entrapped in this zoo. I have examined the zoo very carefully, and I have realized that the crow is the only bird not kept in a cage."

"So for past few days I have been thinking that if I were a crow,I could happily roam everywhere."

That's our problem too.

We make unnecessary comparison with others and become sad.

We don't value what has God given us. This all leads to the vicious cycle of unhappiness.

Value the things God has given us.

Learn the secret of being happy and discard the comparison which leads only to unhappiness.

The 'E' in Our Life

In this world of E-mails, E-ticket, E-paper, E-recharge, E-transfer........

Never Forget "E-shwar (God) who makes e-verything e-asy for e-veryone e-veryday.

"E" is the most eminent letter of the English alphabet.

Men or Women don't exist without "E".

House or Home can't be made without "E".

Bread or Butter can't be found without "E".

"E" is the beginning of "existence" and the end of "trouble."

It's not at all in 'war' but twice in 'peace'.

It's once in 'hell' but twice in 'heaven'.

"E" is represented in 'Emotions' hence, all emotional relations like Father, Mother, Brother, Sister, wife and friends have 'e' in them.

"E" also represents 'Effort' and; 'Energy', hence to be 'Better' from good "e" is  added twice.

Without "e", we would have no love, life, wife, friends or hope and 'see', 'hear', 'smell', or 'taste' as 'eye' 'ear', 'nose' and 'tongue' are incomplete without "e".

Hence GO with "E" but without E-GO.
